ARROWHEAD WINE CELLARS BRINGS HOME THE GOLD

PA Winery Earns Double Gold Medal at International Wine Competition

North East, PA (March 20, 2013) – Arrowhead Wine Cellars is pleased to announce it has won several awards at the 2013 Florida State Fair International Wine and Grape Juice Competition.

Mobilia Farms, an Arrowhead Wine Cellars subsidiary, received the prestigious double gold medal for its Pure Concord Grape Juice. A double gold medal is awarded when all 26 judges unanimously agree an entry is worthy of a gold medal.

In addition, Arrowhead Wine Cellars was awarded several silver and bronze medals for its Pennsylvania Table Wines, including:

Silver: Dazzling Niagara, Niagara, Buffalo Blush and Blackberry
Bronze: Vintners Reserve Dry Riesling, Riesling, Cabernet Franc and Fredonia

"We believe excellent wine begins with the finest and pure Pennsylvania grape juice," said Arrowhead Wine Cellars Owner Nicholas Mobilia. "These awards just reinforce what we already know, and that is outstanding wine is produced right here along the shores of Lake Erie."

Arrowhead Wine Cellars and Mobilia Farms competed against more than 800 commercial wine entries from around the world in the 25th annual Florida State Fair International Wine and Grape Juice Competition. Only 53 double gold medals were awarded.
